Peninsula is the largest and most avant-garde of the three venues. Its design was inspired by London’s iconic Tate Modern Museum and features nine metre high ceilings, exposed trusses and huge floor to ceiling windows flanked by the original loading doors of the shed. Peninsula has a contemporary colour palette of black, white and grey and includes a stunning 66-metre crystal chandelier streaking along one side of the room. The sheer size of the venue combined with its industrial heritage and prime waterside location makes it truly unique.

Atlantic has been relocated from South Wharf and features cathedral-style ceilings, expansive windows that provide a flood of natural light and also makes use of Shed 14’s original loading doors which contrast against a host of contemporary design features including a mirror tiled wall. Atlantic has a light, earthy feel with hand etched wooden floorboards complemented by a colour palette of beige, tan and black. Atlantic’s design features include a shipping crate inspired bar and six custom-made low-hung chandeliers comprising chrome metal bodies and massive transparent panels with prominent globes.

Sumac has also been relocated from South Wharf and has retained its distinctive Middle Eastern inspired decor in the transition. Sumac’s Moroccan influences include dark hand etched wooden floorboards, a vibrant fuchsia colour scheme featuring rich, sumptuous fabrics, dark metal latticework and traditional Moroccan hanging lamps. A dramatic floor to ceiling cream curtain sweeps along one side of the room, and a bronze mirrored bar stands at one end.

Walk into SKETCH and you enter haute monde- a stunning private dining room where no expense is spared. From imported showcase fittings such as the feature chandelier from Milan to designer crockery and cutlery from Spain, SKETCH provides a level of class and sophistication that no other venue can offer. Located at the end of the pier with a floor to ceiling glass window overlooking the water, the striking interior décor of rich purple and black is sure to make a lasting impression with you and your guests.

Alumbra brings its trademark global essence to Central Pier fusing rich Middle Eastern and European influences offering 360-degree views from the sun drenched decking of the Docklands precinct, Bolte Bridge and city skyline. Many of shed 9's original features have been retained and juxtaposed with rich candy striped carpets, complete with tribal screens and exotic Middle Eastern artefacts scattered throughout the venue. In the event space, Central Pier's weathered timber planks appear through the glass dance floor, which also provides views down into the waters of Victoria Harbour. The main space includes specially commissioned glass chandeliers, carpets in luscious pink and purple tones and a spectacular transparent illuminated bar.
